Thursday, April 11, 2024 | 12:56 p.m. Officers were engaged in a standoff with a wanted person just west of the Las Vegas Strip, according to Metro Police. The person was barricaded in the 2700 block of Wyandotte Street, in the area of Interstate 15 and Sahara Avenue, police said. The incident was been ongoing since about 9:40 a.m. today, police said. No additional information was released about the person being sought. People should avoid the area, police said.
