Las Vegas Golden Knights might be upset about AT&T going off the air at the end of the month, but they have decided to leave with a parting gift. This comes in the form of a promise to broadcast the season’s last seven games for fans. The network is reportedly getting out of the Regional sports network game, leaving future broadcasts in doubt.

“(AT&T SportsNet is) going to continue to carry the games (through the end of the Golden Knights’ season). As I said (regarding) any of the regionals, we believe, based on everything we’ve been told, and we’re in constant dialogue, that our games certainly through this regular season will be taken care of. And then once we get to the playoffs, there’s national distribution.” According to Gary Bettman, via TheAthletic.

#4 Kyle Busch calls out Cup Series garage over lack of respect

Kyle Busch is one of NASCAR’s most vocal critics, and fans hang on his every word. That happened again after Busch blasted drivers for the lack of respect in the Cup Series garage. Busch’s complaint might sound comical to his longtime detractors, but he might have a point. The problem could even have to do with the rise of so many rookies into the series.

“We have completely lost any sense of respect in the garage area between drivers,” the Las Vegas native said at Atlanta Motor Speedway. “That’s where the problem lies. Nobody gives two [expletives] about anybody else and it’s just a problem where everybody takes advantage of everybody as much as they can.”

#3 New details on the Las Vegas Raiders + Jimmy Garapallo

One of the more interesting questions this offseason is when did the Raiders start to consider replacing Derek Carr. While some believe that came after their loss to the Seahawks, others claim it happened earlier. They also claim that the Jimmy Garoppolo move could have been a long time coming. Or even Tom Brady if he wanted to come to Las Vegas.

According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated: “The Raiders, for better or worse, didn’t see Carr as a ‘culture fit’ after both McDaniels and Ziegler joined the organization last winter. Garoppolo and Brady had McDaniels as an offensive coordinator in New England, while Ziegler spent time working as a member of that club’s personnel staff.”

#2 Josh McDaniels gets ripped by former Las Vegas Raiders player

Josh McDaniels has been head coach of the Raiders for a year but already finds himself on the hot seat. Not only is that evident by his 6-11 record, but also by his failure to make real changes. The only thing that went right for Las Vegas is their running game, which is primarily a result of Joshua Jacobs working his butt off to prove his worth.

McDaniels also showed difficulties with playcalling and not making adjustments. All this and more makes him a very polarizing figure in the league. Former players are now calling him out and adding to the calls for his ousting. Brandon Marshall is one of those people and he wants him gone if things don’t change. He also goes as far as to say he should never work in the NFL again.

“If Josh McDaniels doesn’t turn the team around this year, his a** needs to be fired … and banned from the NFL,” Marshall said on the March 15 episode of the “I Am Athlete” podcast. “You can’t even be an offensive coordinator. What are you doing? This is your second time around and you’re doing the same thing.”

#1 Jimmy Garoppolo comments on reuniting with Josh McDaniels

Jimmy Garoppolo did his first press conference as a Las Vegas Raider and had a lot of interesting things to say. Despite the original appearance being postponed for unknown reasons, Garappolo seemed nothing but smiles in front of the cameras. He even admitted that Las Vegas always had a spot on his radar.

“Oh yeah,” Garoppolo said Friday when asked about the Raiders being on his radar during free agency. “Right off the bat actually, one of my agents gave me the first list of teams. The Raiders were right up there. I have familiarity with Josh, Dave (Ziegler) – the [general manager]. All that played a role.”

Gar0ppolo and McDaniels did work together in New England, but who knows if the success can be replicated properly. McDaniels often uses his perceived success with Bill Billecheck to get people to buy into his vision and then never delivers. It’s really anyone’s guess if McDaniels and Garrappolo can be a dream team in Las Vegas.
