Las Vegas institutes new law where you can face jail time if you stop walking on the strip.

Live look at my reaction to reading about this new law in Las Vegas: I don’t think I’m alone on this one, but if you ask my wife, she’ll tell you one of my biggest pet peeves is a person who abruptly stops walking right in the middle of the flow of walking traffic. And it happens ALL OF THE TIME. At Am Fam Field, at State Fair, at the airport, it’s maddening. Well Sin City of all places has put a law in place that bans, and I quote: “Stopping, standing or engaging in an activity that causes another person to stop.” PUT IN IN STONE! Make it the law of the land in all locations! Throw offenders in the clink! I just can’t understand what compels a person who KNOWS there is a lot of foot traffic to suddenly hit the brakes and look around. Sadly, though, my confrontations with these peopel exist soley in my head. My inner monologue when I almost run directly into someone who has stopped right in front of me: ‘WHAT THE F—! DO YOU HAVE ROCKS IN YOUR BRAIN?? YOU CAN SEE THERE ARE TONS OF PEOPLE WALKING, YOU KNOW THERE ARE PEOPLE WALKING BEHIND YOU, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT THEM TO DO WHEN YOU JUST STOP ON A DIME? WAKE THE $#% UP YOU $%$#$% IDIOT!’ What I actually say to said people: ‘Ope, sorry my bad, you’re good.’ Well thankfully the long arm of the law might soon intercede with my Midwest Nice. Praise Jesus. PS: Enforcement of this law is going to lead to a LOT of hilarious cell phone videos. I am ready to watch them all and side with the person who had their path impeded. I am ready.
