I Tried It: The Bellagio Spa & Salon in Las Vegas

On a recent trip to Las Vegas (always one of my favorite destinations), I had some extra time so wanted to try a spa, something I’ve never done in the city! After reviewing a few options, I settled on the Bellagio spa, which was absolutely the best choice if you have some time to kill.

As soon as you walk in, there are four bubbling hot tubs you can use before your treatment. The waiting rooms are also gender-specific, so the spas also have a clothing-optional policy. Since I didn’t have a swimsuit on me, I definitely took advantage of this option! You can’t see anything under the bubbles anyway, and everyone there was super chill.

The spa also has some of the most delicious spa snacks I’ve tried. They had a little mini almond cake that tasted straight out of a wedding, and delicious nuts and teas (both iced and hot) that were the perfect snack to tide me over until dinner.

When you’re finally ready for your treatment, you’re led upstairs to the massive amount of treatment rooms. The Bellagio Spa has 56 rooms in total, so it can feel like a maze! But the rooms themselves are quiet and peaceful. My 60-minute massage was amazing, but as always over too quick!

But I did take advantage of the waiting room again on my exit on the advice of my massage therapist. She suggested doing at least 10 minutes in the steam room, which I happily obliged. The steam room at the Bellagio Spa is out-of-this-world. There’s so much steam and pleasant eucalyptus smell you can hardly see across to the other side of the room. The air feels so detoxifying and refreshing, as if all my pores were getting cleaned out.

I never once felt rushed or that the area was ever too crowded. The prices are a little higher here than at other MGM spas, but I think they’re well worth it if you want to spend extra time with the amenities. All in all, I’d definitely recommend a trip to this spa, but give yourself at least an extra hour to enjoy the hot tubs, steam room, sauna, and snacks!

Then of course, if you’re lucky enough to time it right, you can see the always-impressive Bellagio fountains on your exit (for me, even next to a full moon!)
