Mandy I truly only booked here for the shark tank pool and honestly, I think that’s the best reason. The pool is amazing and you can slide down the shark tank! I wish we stayed longer so I could stay in that pool. The rooms were good too! No complaints at all. Also our room didn’t face the strip so that helped! Everyone we talked to was friendly and kind.Just be aware of the Hilton experience scammers. They’ll rope you in and steal most of your day from you while trying to get you to spend way too much money. But that’s not a golden nugget thing.Nearby activities: Right on the Fremont strip so you can easily go to other places. Symone’ Myers I only gave a 4 for rooms because they were not the cleanest, but overall hotel stay 10/10. We stayed in the rush tower. We loved how close Fremont is, even tho we did not know our first night there. Food was great. Room service was great. If you are hungry make sure you check out triple George grill. We will definitely be back to this specific hotel. Oh, wouldn’t recommend if you have children with you. Only because of second hand smoke as you can smoke in casino.Rooms: Rush towers rooms were great. We had a king deluxe I believe. The view was great, we could hear the music be played downtown but not to where your sleep was disturb.Nearby activities: Fremont downtown is a vibe, I can’t wait to go backWalkability: You can walk, we did but there is a lot of unwanted traffic so please be careful of surroundings and where you are walking toFood & drinks: Everything I ate in Vegas was just about good. We knew A lot of place via TikTok that we wanted to try Dulce Borboa Service is great, always attentive and nice. Rooms are pretty standard and clean, no fridges in the Carson tower. Plenty of water bottles and I have heard room service will bring you more if you ask.The check in was pretty crowded when we arrived, but we were moved to another desk down the way to alleviate the traffic, that was pretty nice. The rep that helped us at the front desk was having a birthday, and enthusiastically gave us suggestions on the strip for our kiddo. Overall loved the service, rooms were standard. 8/10 would stay again.Rooms: Rooms are pretty standard. Shower pressure is good in the Carson tower, no smoke smell on the non smoking floors. AC is great and you can turn on the fan only if you want.Safety: The outside of the hotel and parking structure were pretty clear. We had a tall truck so we had to park in the overflow, if you’re 7’1 and up you’re not going to fit in the parking structure. Luckily the parking lot is the catty-cornered to the hotel.Walkability: Not bad for the Fremont Experience, you’re right there and can exit through the casino to Fremont. Sue C We’ve stayed at the Nugget several times during our annual trips to Vegas. The staff is great and accommodating. That said, the reservations system leaves much to be desired. We requested five rooms on the same floor, with two adjoining, months in advance. There was no indication that might be a problem, other than saying adjoining rooms weren’t guaranteed, but every effort would be made. When we checked in, we were told none of that was possible. No one called to ask about alternative room configuration or towers. In addition, my roommate’s credit card was charged instead of mine, despite going to the desk during her checkout to confirm my CC number. After departure, when charges appeared on the wrong card, I called three times, on three different days. When I mentioned on the third call that I had left two messages with no result, the reservations person said she’d try to reach someone at the hotel. That was also unsuccessful. The on site staff is working hard to make guests happy, but it seems the reservations and accounting staff really can’t be bothered with customer service.I’ll be exploring other options next year. Amanda Godsell This wasn’t our first trip to Vegas so we knew what to expect downtown. The Nugget was clean, affordable, and well maintained. We stayed in the Carson Tower and didn’t have any issues with noise from the street. Checkin was kind if a nightmare, though. There is ALWAYS a long line to check in and there are no digital options to avoid the desk. We spent 45 minutes just waiting in line to check in. I will say the staff was all very kind and efficient. There just didn’t seem to be enough space for the number of people wanting to check in. There are security guards that scan your room key before you can get to the elevator banks for each tower. The gentleman at our tower literally had his head leaned back against the wall, and his eyes closed. When we walked up, he said nothing even after we spoke first. He just pointed to the scanner. Seems like on a Friday night, security might be a little more efficient if their head was in the game. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return again. Location can’t be beat, and parking was super easy. Dustin Grandbois Ordered some room service for breakfast, called them twice to take it out. We slept with the old food in the room and checked out in the morning after. They didn’t come take it out. The machines on our floor were all broken. No mini fridge or microwave. The room never got cleaned once and we stayed there 3 nights. The pool and hot tub was nice, the location was nice for Fremont st activities. Just can’t see spending money there ever again with the lack of standard room service.Noteworthy details: That’s it Carolyn Turner Walking out of the hotel onto Fremont Street is the best. Clean room. Free parking for guests. They scan your license plate so you don’t have to deal with checking in and out at the attendant station. The gate automatically goes up when you get close. So cool. If you love Fremont, the golden nugget is the pace to stay.Walkability: Walk out of the hotel onto Fremont street Joseph Kopel Went to the casino and decided to try the 2 dollars Blackjack. My wife only accompanied me yet the dealer, a young woman of brown hair covering her mouth with a mask, noticing her because of her short height asked her driver license thinking she was an underage when she’s actually 32. Ok, no biggie, showed the ID.But the dealer, instead of giving, she threw the ID back to the table as if my wife was nothing. It was a total lack of respect and discriminatory in my opinion.I didn’t want to cause problems in the matter and left shortly after. Instead I decided to put a review describing our experience. No matter what, the casino should give proper attention to the customers.Nearby activities: Fremont Street Kahla Webb First time staying here, and I wasn’t entirely disappointed. I wish it wasn’t raining, so I could have enjoyed the shark pool, but we will be back! My only complaint is the beds are not very comfortable, we didn’t sleep well. But it was super bowl weekend and the price was right. Rooms were clean. Elevator isn’t right next to the table so you don’t have to get out of the elevator to cigarette smoke.
