“As far as I’m concerned, we’re done”: Paul Stanley shuts down suspicions of Kiss participating in residency at the Las Vegas Sphere

Kiss frontman Paul Stanley has said he can’t see the band participating in a residency at the new Las Vegas Sphere following speculation that the band would perform there following their tour.

Kiss are set to wrap up their End Of The Road tour in December, which is said to be their final tour together, but fans had hoped that they would stop by at the new venue before they retire from the road.

U2 are currently performing at The Sphere until the end of December, for a total of 25 dates. The mighty structure is home to the largest LED screen in the world, and it cost a colossal $2.3 billion to bring to life. It is capable of hosting a capacity of 18,000 people for concerts, screenings, film events and more.

Speaking to Ultimate Classic Rock, Stanley shut down rumours that Kiss would be next to take on The Sphere: “I can’t speak to it in any other way except to be honest with you about how I feel now, and the way I feel today is … I can’t really see that happening,” he says. “As far as I’m concerned, we’re done.”

Stanley had also commented earlier this month (October) that believes the reason for the band’s longevity is the “emotional” aspect of their music. “At every show we have tried to show our fans that they are important,” he told Gulf News.

“When we first came on the scene, bands would go on stage like they were doing the audience a favour. But it’s the audience who did you all a favour and you [expletive] well owe it to them to make them feel special,” he said.

Kiss are set to wrap up their tour with two dates at Madison Square Garden. You can view all of the remaining dates via Kiss Online.
