7 Local Food Festivals for Las Vegas Foodies | the D Hotel & Casino Las Vegas

We all know Las Vegas is an entertainment destination, but did you know it’s also a hub for incredible food? You’ve probably heard of all the amazing restaurants around the city, but there are also some pretty fun Las Vegas food festivals and events that take the culinary experience to a whole new level. From Greek festivals to wine walks, check out eight Las Vegas food festivals you don’t want to miss this year!

Las Vegas Restaurant Week

Though not necessarily a festival, Restaurant Week is one of the best times to celebrate food in Las Vegas. From June 5-16, you can enjoy one of the best ways to immerse yourself in part of Las Vegas foodie culture. With so many culinary hotspots in town, Las Vegas Restaurant Week gives you the opportunity to try out many of the restaurants that you might have on your to-try list! During this nearly-two-week period, select restaurants will offer prix fixe menus at discounted prices. It’s the perfect excuse to explore the many flavors of Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Greek Festival

If Greek food is your guilty pleasure, satisfy all of your cravings at the Las Vegas Greek Festival! Scheduled for September 15-17, this Mediterranean food event celebrates all the unique offerings Greece gives the culinary world! Spend your day sampling classics including spanakopita, pastitsio, tiropita, and souvlaki. Offering a taste of Greek culture annually since 1973, this one-of-a-kind event doesn’t just have food! Featuring rides, a raffle, live music, dancing and much more, there’s something for all ages at the Las Vegas Greek Festival. Don’t forget to try the classic Greek anise-flavored aperitif, ouzo!

Life Is Beautiful Festival

With four main stages and three full days of performances running September 22-24, it’s no surprise this vibrant festival is so popular. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of The 1975 or can’t wait to jam out to Goth Babe, Life Is Beautiful is an incredible live music event that features an impressive agenda of unforgettable eats. From six-course meals to grab-and-go-bites, get ready to expand your horizons with a lineup carefully curated by local and regional restaurants, bars, chefs, mixologists, food trucks, and more. Vegetarian or vegan? Can’t eat gluten? No problem! Life Is Beautiful has mouth-watering options for visitors with all types of dietary considerations.

Las Vegas Food & Wine Festival

Each fall, Las Vegas explodes with world-class chefs and sommeliers here to celebrate this decadent event. Slated for October 4-8, 2023, the Las Vegas Food & Wine Festival brings together top-shelf spirits and wines for all your pairing preferences. Hosted annually at the Palms Casino Resort, this delicious event has a ticket for everyone! From $100 one-day general admission prices, to $1,100 VIP cabana tickets, there are endless ways to enjoy this one-of-a-kind event! Plus, as the only Green Certified™ festival in Nevada, visitors can rest easy knowing this event maintains full carbon neutrality as certified by the Green Business Program.

Downtown Brew Festival

Just because it’s a brew festival doesn’t mean it isn’t also a food festival! The 10th annual Downtown Brew Festival on October 7 is a wonderful celebration of the Las Vegas food scene. At this festival hosted by Motley Brews, you can explore the tastiest local beers and dine on delicious food from some of the top restaurants in Vegas – from juicy burgers to delectable lobster rolls. This Las Vegas foodie experience includes 200+ craft brews, 60+ breweries, local culinary artists, live music, and more.

First Friday Festival

Hosted on the first Friday of every month in Downtown Las Vegas, First Friday is a free monthly street festival that gives a great glimpse into local culture. With art, food vendors, and live music, each month features local artists and vendors. The food scene is an exciting and fun one, with over 50 food trucks and restaurants to choose from to try a little taste of everything.  From comfort food classics to vegan-friendly options, you’ll be able to find something for everyone at this monthly Las Vegas food festival.

Las Vegas Farmers Market

For a taste of home in Sin City, check out the Las Vegas Farmers Market. Hosted every Wednesday from 2-8 pm, this event brings the community together around fresh produce and unique local vendors. Head to Bruce Trent Park on Rampart Boulevard to enjoy farm-fresh fruits and vegetables along with local artists, crafters, culinary artists, and other free entertainment. Locals especially like this spot for scoping out the beautiful weather and some of the best food trucks in Vegas!

Whether you’re craving Greek loukoumades or are looking for some food pairings with craft beer, there are flavors for everyone at Las Vegas food festivals! Don’t miss your chance to taste the world while never leaving Las Vegas. And if you need a place to relax and digest after tasting all that the Vegas foodie scene has to offer, book your room at the D to have a place to call home.
