Top college football predictions for Week 0

One of the top college football picks Marshall is recommending for Saturday: Hawaii (+17.5) covers on the road against Vanderbilt at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

A massive 35-point outburst in the third quarter propelled Vanderbilt to a 63-10 blowout of Hawaii on the road last season. That score certainly impacts the big spread this year. The personnel, however, has changed for Vanderbilt this year as the Commodores will have a new quarterback and a new running back than when they faced Hawaii last year.

Marshall says the trends point to Hawaii keeping this one within the number this season after the Rainbow Warriors played better late in 2022.

“The Rainbow Warriors rallied down the stretch last season and covered seven of the last eight, including three of the last four on the mainland,” Marshall told SportsLine. “Vandy is 0-5 vs. spread as non-conference host for Clark Lea (since 2021), and 4-7 ATS last season after the Hawaii opener.” See which other picks to make here
